Every green tech rollout plan I have reviewed treats workforce impact as an afterthought, a paragraph near the end about "retraining programs" with no actual numbers behind it. That gap is where a just transition strategy either succeeds or quietly fails the people it claims to protect. AI will not solve that gap on its own, but it can help you model the tradeoffs honestly instead of guessing.

A just transition strategy is a plan for shifting toward greener technology or processes in a way that accounts for the workers, suppliers, and communities whose livelihoods depend on the systems being replaced. Step 2: Model Retraining and Redeployment Pathways
Identifying who is affected is only half the work. The harder, more useful question is where those workers can realistically go, and what specific gap needs to close to get them there.

Task: For the displaced and transformed roles listed below, identify realistic internal redeployment pathways and the specific skills or certifications needed to bridge each gap.
